Objectives are to create and strengthen connections and increase friendship in our community, through social interaction (creating a sense of belonging), especially for people who are on their own.
Group goes on outings to various places of interest (landmarks and events) and entertainment (shows and performances).
Regular bi-monthly outings are planned, Friday being the first choice depending on the activity. Outings will take into consideration the mobility of people, some events may require active walking, while other events will cater for those not as agile. Transport is by private cars, public transport or a Bus is hired, depending on the activity and the people.
